Removal of FSP from our standard Product Portfolio

This notice is to advise that the self-regulating product, reference FSP, is, forthwith, deleted from the Heat Trace product portfolio.

The main reason for this is that the popularity of the type FSE product, introduced a few years ago, has continued to grow at the expense of the FSP, whose temperature capability is only 10ºC higher, but at a considerably higher cost. Thus demand for FSP had fallen such that, to manufacture small quantities was costing more than to make FSS.

So now, the choice will be FSE (100ºC ON/OFF) or FSS (150ºC ON/ 200ºC OFF).

Of course, FSP will remain an option as a potential non-standard product should we have an application involving sufficiently high volumes where a price below that of FSS is required.

FSP will be deleted from future versions of Evolution and the Industrial Design Guide.
